The Northern Research Group is allowing the North of England to access its potential as a powerhouse in this country alongside the support of the ‘levelling up’ agenda. The Northern Research Group ensures the benefit of all its constituents as it provides many opportunities to their towns and cities.
This past Friday, I attended the Northern Research Group Conference 2023. The conference consisted of Ministers, MPs, Northern Businesses, stakeholders, Charities, and Members, all coming together to discuss real effective solutions to helping matters in the North and to strengthen the work that NRG has done so far.
The ‘levelling up’ agenda has given me the opportunity to provide for my constituents; £20 million for the Worksop town centre. The £20 million project I have helped secure will allow for the redevelopment of the Priory Centre to focus on leisure and also open up opportunities for the Chesterfield Canal.
