Fantastic news tonight as the Withdrawal Agreement Bill has passed through the House of Lords and now just needs Royal Assent.
Originally the House of Lords sent the Bill back to us in the Commons with 5 amendments. Today we voted against all of these amendments and sent the Bill back to the Lords again. I am delighted that they’ve decided not to further challenge the Bill and will now respect the will of the British people. Get the champagne ready for January 31st...
