Brendan Clarke-Smith MP is the Conservative Member of Parliament for Bassetlaw, He was elected on 12th December 2019, winning the seat with a majority of over 14,000.
Brendan is Nottinghamshire born and bred and he currently lives in the town of Retford. He was raised on the Clifton council estate in Nottingham, and at the age of 22 he was elected as the area's Conservative councillor.
A qualified teacher, he taught in the UK as well as in Sweden, Norway and Romania, where he was Head of an International School.
As MP for Bassetlaw, Brendan is committed to representing your voice in Parliament and championing the constituency on national and international levels.
He is dedicated to campaigning for better local transport, increased police numbers and an improved and more efficient NHS.
