I am incredibly proud to see Rob Burrow and Kevin Sinfield being awarded CBEs in the New Year Honours list. They have done so much to raise money to fight Motor Neurone Disease and to raise awareness of the condition.
It has been an absolute honour to work with charities in Parliament as part of the All Party Parliamentary Group on MND towards finding a cure for this cruel disease, including securing a £50 million commitment from government towards cutting-edge research .
