The Environment Agency have arranged a public drop in session in Worksop, to allow the public to be updated with the work they have been doing following the 2019 flooding.
The EA will also have in attendance their Asset Management team to discuss the works they have been doing since 2019 and information to help with the recruitment of Flood Wardens. As partners Notts County Council will attend to discuss surface water flooding, including the 16th August event and to raise awareness of the Community (Road Closure) Signage Scheme which Josh Wells has been leading for our team.
Please make sure to attend if you are a local resident or business who/which have/has been affected by the floods.
