An absolute pleasure attending the fundraiser for Ukraine in Retford Town Hall last night, and even better that Ukraine and the U.K. finished in the top two positions at Eurovision!
Thanks Cllr Gerald Bowers and everybody else who helped to make this event possible and gave up their time, money or donated prizes.
I also managed to pick up a signed bat from the greatest cricketer of all time, former Nottinghamshire and New Zealand all-rounder Sir Richard Hadlee, in the auction
