A third of pensioners across the UK are eligible for but do not claim #PensionCredit, equating to around 770,000 households nationwide.
Pension Credit is effectively a top up scheme for state pensions with an average of £3,300 per annum in extra support available, as well as the Government's £650 cost of living support payments for low earners.
In order to be eligible for the £650 through Pension Credit, it must be claimed by 18th August.
I therefore urge all of my older constituents to look into Pension Credit, and if eligible, apply.
