Yesterday I took part in a debate on revoking the TV licence. This is after a public petition gained over 100,000 signatures, so triggered a debate in Parliament.
I have conducted a number of surveys on this issue and here are some of the results from the questions I asked you:
Is the Licence Fee good value for money?
15% of people said yes, with 78% of people saying no & 7% unsure.
Should the TV Licence Fee be replaced with a subscription service instead?
48% of people said yes, with 28% of people saying no, 17% unsure and other with 7%
Should the BBC provide free TV Licences to those over the age of 75?
87% of people said yes, 10% saying no and 3% unsure.
Thank you for taking part.
